Join us in Garland, Texas on October 3-10, 2026 for the BCCA National Specialty’s Texas Roundup!
Our host hotel is the Hyatt Place in Garland, TX. The hotel is located less than an hour’s drive from both the herding and agility sites.
Attention Agility competitors! There will be two all-breed agility trials on the weekend before our Specialty agility trials, at the same venue as our Beardie-only trials. The host hotel is offering our group rates for rooms on 10/2 before the trials, so come early!
We start our Specialty on Saturday, 10/3 and Sunday, 10/4 with herding at Alamar Farm, only 40 minutes from the Hyatt Place. On Monday 10/5 and Tuesday 10/6, the agility trials take place at the Myers Park and Event Center in McKinney, TX, just over half an hour’s drive from the host hotel. Wednesday, 10/7, is the day for the obedience and rally trials onsite at the host hotel.
Our conformation events begin on Thursday, 10/8, with Veteran & Puppy Sweepstakes. Regular classes, Veterans, and Performance dogs enter the ring on Friday, 10/9, and our Specialty concludes on Saturday, 10/10, with Junior Showmanship, Beginner Puppy, Best of Breed, and the non-regular classes (Stud Dog/Brood Bitch/Brace).
In addition to our competitive events, we’re offering educational opportunities — including a Health Seminar with a reproductive vet and Judges’ and Breeders’ Education!
Kick back with your friends at our social events! In addition to the Welcome Party, we’re hosting Dinner at the STOCKyard and a field trip to Fort Worth. We’ll wrap up our week with the Closing Ceremonies and Awards.
